Vacancy Employee Housekeeping

The housekeeping team ensures that the rooms and common areas are cleaned and maintained every day. The work is planned, directed and controlled by the housekeeping Supervisor or Duty Manager. Work is possible on the basis of a part-time employment contract for at least 3 days a week, including Saturdays, more days are also possible. Vacancy Kitchen Employee

The cozy restaurant will offer a lounge menu of small dishes, appetizers and drinks daily after breakfast starting August 2024. Working in the open kitchen, the Kitchen Worker will take care of preparing the appetizers ordered, serve them when there is time, keep the reel up to date and take care of mise en place for the next shift. On quiet days you will work alone, on busy days there will be assistance from a colleague or an intern.
Purchasing, taking & checking deliveries, and working according to HACCP conditions is part of the job.

Working hours from 06.00/07.00 in the morning until 14.00/15.00 or from 14.00 to 22.00, an average of 7.5 hours per day. Number of shifts per week to be determined by mutual agreement (including weekends and holidays). 

The Kitchen Team works closely with the Front Office team, together they form the welcoming heart of Staats.

Vacancy Night Receptionist

The Night Receptionist is on duty from 11pm in the evening until 7am the next day and is responsible for the safety of guests and the building.

The first two hours of the shift consist of providing service to guests in the lounge, performing some light cleaning duties and a check round of the building. 
Once this work is done, the Night Receptionist may retire to the night room and the remaining time is free to spend, provided the Night Receptionist remains available for emergencies and late arrivals. 

Requirements:

- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- In possession of BHV and Soc.Hygiene or willing to obtain the diplomas
- Flexible availability, at least also on Saturday nights

 

Vacancy Breakfast Chef

A breakfast buffet is presented daily for guests in the cozy restaurant. Complementing the buffet are egg dishes, pancakes and other specialties made to order.

The breakfast chef makes sure it all runs smoothly, from preparing the buffet, to preparing and serving the dishes, clearing and washing up to making mise en place for the next day.

Cookies and cakes for breakfast and the hotel lounge, are handmade daily. On days when there are meetings, the breakfast cook also provides lunches for the meeting guests. 

On quiet days you work alone, on busy days there is assistance from a colleague or an intern.
